*To ensure the safety of our players, we recognize that football, like any contact sport, carries a risk of injury. We take proactive measures to minimize these risks, including thorough training, proper equipment, and regular health assessments. Our commitment to player safety is paramount, and we continuously evaluate our practices to create a secure environment for everyone involved.

Football Program Structure
The Board recognizes and respects that all RGB players have the opportunity to participate in flag football through the 8th grade, allowing for a smooth transition to high school contact football in the 9th grade. While this may not align with the Board's preferred progressive pathway from flag to tackle, we honor the choices made by parents and players, acknowledging each individual's unique developmental circumstances.
* Minimum Age to participate is four (4) as of Sept 1st.
Age and Weight Criteria:

Game Schedule
8 one hour games played in River Grove either Saturday, or Sunday afternoons beginning the first weekend in April and ending by the first week of June.
